Huddle connection brings youth fitness outreach to communities in Northeast Ohio. Each community is unique in its fitness outreach needs, and these are met by implementing various programming strategies.
Referral/placement program
Participants are identified by professionals who have direct contact with the children, including school counselors, teachers, and social workers.
Participants are placed in a three session rotation of established fitness programs in their community. Sessions last three months.
Specific programming to Target Areas
A variety of established fitness programs are chosen because of their appeal to children, their ability to positively affect children, and their commitment to youth fitness outreach.
Programs are brought into schools or community centers where there is targeted need.
